Mid Life Crisis

A so-called mid-life crisis can be serious enough to cause a relationship to fall apart even after many years of a life together. This crisis period most often occurs between the ages of 35 and 55 which is when many people begin to question the purpose of their lives. Often there is a catalyst for the crisis, sometimes evident before more damaging effects begin to show. This might be the death of a parent, stressful changes to the work environment, hormone changes or preparation for retirement. There are of course many other triggers which can turn a peaceful contented life into chaos.
